April is considered a month of renewal, but it can also be stressful as we make plans to be refreshed and revived.

Stress is an overwhelming feeling of pressure caused by external or internal issues or circumstances. Did you know that emotional and physical stress can lead to serious health issues like cancer, hypertension, and even death?

Here are some ways to combat stress:

• Maintain a balanced diet and exercise regularly

• Get proper rest

• Don’t be afraid to ask for help
