Happy February! It’s National heart health month. Did you know that the health of the heart is determined by the number of beats per minute at rest. A normal resting heart rate for adults can range from 60 to 100 beats per minute. The lower the heart rate at rest signifies a more efficient and healthy heart, therefore implying better cardiovascular fitness.
